As a five piece the ‘Hit’s’ continued with ‘I Can Do it’ and ‘Foe Dee Oh Dee’. The Rubettes were a very ‘Live’ band and they constantly toured Europe and even Japan before at the beginning of 1976 Bill decided to quit and go ‘Solo’. He was never heard of again. The Rubettes were now four but the die had been cast and the Rubettes were firmly established as one of the major exponents of the ‘Glam Rock’ era.
