The Rubettes continued recording and releasing singles with replacement guitarist Bob Benham but with little or no success and in April 1979 during rehearsals for a long overdue come back tour of the U.K. a difference of opinion saw the departure of Bob. The tour subsequently never happened and in 1980 the bands recording contract with Polydor Records ended.
